from Jason Gleed- 5 Apples, peeled, cored and sliced
- 3 Tbs. Flour
- 1/4 tsp. Cinnamon
- Dash of Nutmeg
- 2/3 C. Maple Syrup
- 1/2 C. Butter
- 1/2 C. Brown Sugar
- 3/4 C. Four
- 1 pinch of Salt
- 3/4 C. Oats
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Toss the apples with 3 Tbs. of flour, cinnamon and nutmeg, then place in an 8x8 baking dish. Pour the maple syrup over the apples. In a bowl, cream together the butter and brown sugar. Stir in the flour, salt and oats. Sprinkle the oat mixture over the apples. Bake for 35 minutes, until golden and bubbly and the apples are tender.
Note to Self: I LOVE apple crisp. So far, this is my favorite recipe.
